Is there anything better than a good old-fashioned letter? You know, the kind that feels like it was written just for you, in looping cursive on floral stationery—or in this case, typed on a laptop while eating some leftover banana bread at my kitchen counter (same/same haha).
I’ve been racking my brain for an idea for a weekly recap or “happy weekend” type series to end each week here on the blog, but nothing felt right like me. I wanted a slower, more thoughtful way to end the week—not just a roundup or a list of links (though I do love those). Something softer, something funnier, something more creative. A letter, from me to you perhaps.
So, starting today, I’ll be writing a short letter every Friday. Sometimes it’ll be to you. Sometimes to my younger self, my grand-babies, or even something random like my car or my spice rack (you’d be surprised how much cinnamon and I have to talk about these days 😁).
It won’t be anything long or fancy. Just something honest from the week. A small space to breathe, reflect, and maybe laugh a little, and hopefully this will allow us to connect too.
If you ever want to write back or share a letter of your own—please do. I’d love to hear what your week has been like or who you’d write a letter to.
More soon—happy weekend!
